My Journey in Paint
My painting "Canyon" is part of an ArtCan group show in a Central London Art Gallery!

Me at D-Contemporary

Me with "Canyon" - I couldn't stop smiling, it was so lovely to see my work hung in this lovely gallery!
It's been a long wait, but finally 'Inspire', an ArtCan group show, has opened at D Contemporary in London's Grafton Street, and I'm thrilled that my painting "Canyon" is in the show!
Originally planned for Spring 2020, the exhibition had to be postponed again and again (due to Covid-19), but at last all the works were hung and the gallery opened its doors (with those fabulous cricket-ball door knobs!!!) on the 8th of June for 'Inspire 2021'. The exhibition is on until 18 June 2021.

There was a Private View on the opening night but, due to government guidelines, numbers had to be restricted and so a hybrid event was organised and I was able to join the PV via Zoom. I didn't make it to the PV, but we went in to the gallery during the week and it was really lovely to see all the works.
We were 19 different artists, each with one work in the show, and yet the hang was beautifully cohesive - quite an amazing achievement!

It's amazing to be on display in such a lovely gallery in the heart of London's Mayfair, an area known for its art galleries.
